Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
